This is Miguel Barclay's second One Pound Meals recipe book. In this book he focusses on fresh and light food. All of the recipes are written to serve 1 at the cost of £1 per person, and can easily be scaled up to serve more people, using everyday ingredients to make quite unusual recipes.

This recipe book by Mary Berry has over 100 recipes from quick suppers to impressive dishes for entertaining. In this book, she details Keys to Perfection and notes which areas to get right for the best results and provides step by step instructions. The first recipe David made included how to "twist" the Seeded Granary Twist.

The book is full of the nation's favourite Chinese dishes, modernised with fresh, easy to buy ingredients and providing simple practical tips and techniques.

We bought this book after watching the TV series of the same name, if you can find it on Channel 4 its definitely worth a watch.

Another book that was bought after watching the TV series! We have been to Mexico twice on holiday and love the food, especially the hand held fast food variety like quesadillas and tacos.
In the TV series, Rick started in San Francisco and Baja California, and worked his way down to the southernmost tip of Mexico...cooking and eating all the way!!

We've made this one so many times...even when I suggest 'let's try a different filling' for the quesadillas, David says no. In the end I agree...it really is delicious. The salsa is versatile too...enjoy it with fajitas, nachos or if you just fancy a bowl of tortilla crisps.
