Simple Burger Sauce

It has the perfect balance of creamy, sweet, tart and heat and goes very well with your favourite burgers.

Ingredients

  • 45 g (3 tbsp) mayonnaise Heinz light is my favourite!
  • 15 g (1 tbsp) tomato ketchup
  • 15 g (1 tbsp) American mustard
  • 30 g (1.1 oz) gherkins finely chopped, plus 1 tsp of brine from the jar
  • a couple of shakes of Tabasco sauce
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Mix the ingredients together in a small bowl and leave to sit at room temperature until you’re ready to use it.

Notes

  • This simple burger sauce recipe is easily adapted if you’re making it for less or more people.
