This easy air fryer piri piri chicken wings recipe is the second one I tried while experimenting with different flavours. You might also like to try the easy air fryer Cajun chicken wings, and the easy air fryer Spanish chicken wings!
The ingredients list is pretty short so you'll hopefully have everything in your store cupboard, and will just need to buy a pack of wings and maybe a bottle of piri piri sauce from the supermarket.
Prep is quick and then the air fryer does the hard work in 30 minutes resulting in delicious crispy wings that are then covered in a full of flavour spicy sauce.
Tips
- Sauce – change out piri piri sauce for hot sauce (I like Frank’s RedHot Wings Buffalo Sauce) to make buffalo wings instead!
- Baking powder makes the chicken skin blister and air frying makes them lovely and crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside!
- This easy air fryer piri piri chicken wings recipe is easily adapted if you’re cooking for less or more people.
