This easy air fryer Spanish chicken wings recipe is the third new one today, cooking chicken wings in the air fryer. I was inspired by the flavours in the roasted chicken wings with roast potatoes, oregano and garlic recipe already here on Felly Bull! Prep time is quick and the cooking time is 30 minutes! The end result is delicious moreish wings that are full of yummy Spanish flavour - we could have eaten the whole lot between the 2 of us.
Tips
- Baking powder makes the chicken skin blister and air frying makes them lovely and crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside!

How to make this Easy Air Fryer Spanish Chicken Wings
Ingredients
- 8 chicken wings (approx. 600g), wing tips removed and jointed to give 16 pieces in total
- 1 tsp garlic paste, or 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 tsp baking powder (see Tips)
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp pimenton, or smoked paprika
- a pinch of chilli flakes
- 0.25 tsp salt
- a pinch of freshly ground black pepper
- olive oil spray
Instructions
- Put the wings into a large bowl and toss with the garlic, then add the baking powder, oregano, pimenton, chilli flakes, salt and pepper and toss again until all of the wings are coated.
- Place the seasoned wings in the air fryer basket(s), or on racks, sprayed with olive oil (you may need to work in batches depending on the size of your drawer(s)).
- Cook at 120C for 15 minutes then turn the wings over and cook at 200C for 15 minutes.
- Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a serving bowl or plate and enjoy!
